oh !! where art thou creativity?
creativity really seems missing now a days...television, movies, reality shows, including print media..............even the literature and fine art!!!!!
movies are being aped from hollywood to bollywood by the so called commercially successful directors
movies in turn are being made into daily television shows
reality shows are just being replicated for indian viewers with a dose of heavy 'hindisization'
print media..........excluding the news (which is also crappy and monotonous) i doubt if u can find one interesting article baring a few exceptional occasional columnists. sunday supplements filled with sickening and idle topics in the name of good lifestyle..
literature is though the least suffered....yet tell me one book that can be considered as a classic at par with Casablanca, Gone with he wind, City of joy etc.....unlike the modern vulgar trash, so called wanna be classics.
have a look at the modern comedy genre' of the movies...forget about portraying the fineness of black comedy...we are unable to view a clean family time comedy...
come to canvas.....where is the next Picasso?....modifying an old model is not creativity!! where is the innovation in art?
poetry is a thing of past now.....give me one name who can be at par with poets as old as shelly, keats, byron.....

why?? why on earth we are establishing that by-gone era, that is gone forever, had been nicer? why is the new age loosing its charm?
why are the incidents of depression shooting up when the ability to afford luxury has proportionately shot up too?

why the happiness quotient has fallen that we are looking for spiritual gurus to teach us the art of living?? we have to learn the tricks of survival!!!!
good heavens!!

however, personally i m optimist.
history repeats....when europe faced its dark age...there came Renaissance....perhaps we are heading towards another creative renaissance!!
